At about 9:18. He says Joshua is like still water and Fury is like a shaken bottle of bubbly water. I guess that means Fury is more dynamic.

He means Fury's midsection jiggles like it's carbonated.

It would be obvious if he actually said that Fury was better.

There is the perspective that he was also comparing styles - Olek also stated that AJ was a classic boxer.

AJ was never anywhere near as badly off as Fury was in round 9 vs Usyk - when Bubbly Tyson wasn’t so effervescent.

He never said Fury was better because he is not.

Except when they stopped the fight ten seconds early to prevent AJ from getting knocked out. I actually at this point think that AJ will have the much better legacy over Fury, and if they every fight, I will be in AJ's corner, but yeah, Uysk embarrassed AJ similarly:

    POST SCRIPT:

Though not as brutal, the round 10 rally in the second fight after AJ's good 9th is pretty legendary:

Aj fanboys still trying to cope
Fury gave Usyk the better fight
Fury beat wlad while he was unbeaten in 10 years on away soil

Fury beat title challenger Whyte without getting touched, while green whyte had also quite green Aj (less so) as bambino on ice

Oh but don't worry, he knocked out Ngannou, so you still have that to cling to lol

It's hilarious now that we have to argue who is the better loser, lol. A loser is a loser and the fans need to accept that!

That video shows the round was exactly 3 minutes from bell to bell. DAZN's broadcast clock was wrong.

Edit: just to add I don't actually know whose responsibility time in belongs to in a fight in UK. Some guidelines I've read say the time keeper. Some guidelines say the referee.

Usyk obviously rates Fury higher than AJ lol. He’s just too polite to say it directly, so he’s using the water analogy. We all know what he means.

That’s not the quote you were responding to.

To the quote you’ve now called in.

Usyk was 34/35 yo when he fought Joshua.

Olek was 37 when he fought Fury.

Do you think fights might not become that much tougher due to advancing age, the stand alone quality of the opponent notwithstanding?

Fury said that Ngannou was probably his toughest fight in 10 years. So, does that translate to Francis being his BEST opponent in 10 years? Think.

I don’t think he embarrassed AJ similarly.

The round wasn’t stopped 10 seconds early.

The DAZN timer was simply incorrect. Note the YT timer reads 0 mins 5 secs at the start of the round and then, upon the final bell, it reads exactly 3 mins 5 secs.

Conversely, Usyk was undoubtedly robbed of a TKO/KO 9 over Fury.

I note you always play the AJ fanboy and/or cope cards in lieu of actually having any meat to your arguments.

I am by no means an AJ fanboy.

But the fact is, AJ did fight 24 rounds in total vs Usyk without being KD’d whereas Fury was KD’d and, for all intents and purposes, stopped by Usyk inside of 9 rounds total.

I am a Usyk fan, but objectively so.

Is it objective to compare AJ’s comparative result against Ngannou and dismiss it out of hand?

    Of course it isn’t.

In fact, it’s an irrational, self serving, preemptive strike against a valid point of reference. You’re not fooling anyone.

We should ask Francis who his toughest fight was - and his answer should then tell us who the better fighter is. Correct? Lol.

After basically stopping Fury and going on to a clear points decisions at any rate, there are NO reasons for Usyk fans to employ any coping mechanisms.

It’s such an inane accusation - ONLY logical for the fact that is clear PROJECTION on the part of certain Fury fans who ARE obviously having REAL coping issues after Usyk defeated Fury. Big LOL there.

There’s only one way to find out who’s better. We’ve had years and years of “Fury is the best and would probably beat so and so”. He “probably” would’ve beaten Usyk as well.
