He sure did. Without a having a great long jab and/or great footwork you aint going to beat Usyk imo. Interestingly Uysk has a much longer reach than Chisora.
He sure does, its just that against skilful boxers, he only delivers poor performances (Fury, Pulev, Kabayel). In all those fights he gave up tryng to win after a few rounds, least this time he will get millions for doing so. Might sound hard on him, but reality is, i am being honest, he is limited and is not a world class boxer.
Correct. Tough lad. Match him well and he's a fighter. Against people who can box he can look really really ordinary and slow. A good career British and Euro belt holder fought in big fights at home and abroad but he just doesn't have the skill at the top level. I'm expecting OU's footwork to give him nightmares and a stoppage or wide points win - but I don want Derek to land a couple of those huge can opener right hands i'd love to see him test OU crowd him and bully him like he was able to do with Whyte but I don't think he has the speed or ability to do it or sustain it.
I shook hands with Usyk today at the press junket and the guy is a unit. Much wider and thicker set than I imagined. Definitely has a bit of an aura to him.
Derrick WAR chisora is a shot fighter. Gastank was gone after three rounds in with the big stiff plumber. BRUTHA USKY takes this via one sided methodical beatdown and stops the old man 7-9.
Usyk will have to eat different pudding on May 23 - very unlikely this goes ahead and the only winner is the Ticket Agency who will keep their approx 10% ticket sale fees.
This Covid-19 situation, Joshua’s IBF mandatory and a potential undisputed fight with Fury could derail any aspirations and longevity Usyk has at heavyweight completely.
