at least call both fighters by their real names - Scamuel Cheater & Brittley Quitschko

 

Here's a quick explaination for those unsure what the negative and positive numbers mean. Its hard to keep straight, sometimes.

If Fighter A is -160 and Fighter B is +130, this means that you have to bet $160 to win $100 on Fighter A, but you bet only $100 to win $130 if you think Fighter B is going to win.

I would personlly explain it like this................,

the negative number (favored fighter) you have to bet that amount to win $100

the positive number (underdog), you have to bet $100 in order to win that amount (his negative number)

Thanks for correcting, I really don't understand the - + stuff, only understand the 1-4 numbers.

Is he a heavy favorite or is it close?

 

For example if Cintron- Margarito III were too happen tommorrow the odds would probably be something like +750 for Cintron and -800 for Margarito. You'd have to place $800 at risk to win $100 on Margarito.

An underdog will have the + sign. If you risk $20 dollars on Cintron you could potentially win $150 if he wins. (bet $100 to win $750)
