'Tis very similar to the classic '52 photo of Marciano cracking Walcott and distorting his face.... WORD!

Damn! Vitali should lay off those right hands if he ever wants to lure Haye into the ring. I suppose that punch is proof Vitali is ducking him.

^Why does a wierdo always have to bring up Haye in a VItali thread, it's like when people constantly mention Ronaldo whenever Messi comes up. Quite disturbing.

    /

Briggs face there looks like a beat up *****.

Lewis took out a young, prime Briggs back in 98, 13 years ago.It took him 5 rounds.
Vitali landed 200 right hands with full force, and still couldnt even hurt Briggs.

Facts..Vitalis punching power is way overrated...

His face reminds me of the photo of La Starza in September '53 as Marciano lands a big right hand on him.

That's the only fight where Briggs actually has a good punch output. And that was the reason he gassed very quickly against Lewis.

Lewis was nearly taken out by Briggs in the 1st round. Lewis was lucky that left landed with only 30 seconds left in the round.

How old was Lewis? How old was Vitali? Can't have it both ways. Vitali put a much bigger beating on Briggs than Lewis did.

How much more of a beating do you think Lewis would have put on Briggs if he'd managed to stay upright for 12 rounds rather than 5?

And yeah, whoever before said Briggs gassed against Lewis is right. Briggs tried to make Lewis get into a slugging match - it just backfired on him, that's all.

Lewis kept on slugging when Briggs wanted to rest.

Good photo though. Shows Briggs 'chin roll' defence off very well.

If briggs showed that much heart an determination as he did against vitali in the lewis fight, i doubt lewis wins. I mean vitali hit him with shots harder then lennox landed, i guess deeeeeeeep down, briggs didn't want to get KO'd by a whiteboy.

Vitali never landed a straight right as hard as Lewis'. Vitali is nowhere near Lewis on skill level and overall ability. Only thing Vitali has better than Lewis is his chin, thats about it.
