Since Vitali Klitschko's historic win over Sam Peter less than two weeks ago and Don King's historic offer to lure Lennox Lewis back to the ring, Klitschko's camp, Lewis' reps, and the WBC have all been awfully quiet about Klitschko's next opponent. Does anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that Klitschko-Lewis II could secretly be in the works?

Doubtful. But 25 million is a lot of $; even for Lennox Lewis.

He already has money. Why risk his legacy to add a couple of million to his already impressive fortune? not worth it imo

If that was £ instead of $ then he would be a fool not to consider it. I don't think it will happen though, any noise coming from Lennox is probably just an attempt to wind Vit up :good

I think there is a chance. If Vitlai struggled a bit vs Peter, MAYBE Lewis would accept a rematch. But Vitlai dominated Peter.

Now that Evander Holyfield's camp has claimed in the Atlanta press that Lennox Lewis' reps have contacted him about a third fight, I think things are even decidedly more suspicious than they were yesterday.

Maybe that is how Oldy is trying to lure Vitaly to fight him instead of LL, in case the later decides to stay retired. After all, Oldy is in desperate need for $$$.

    Right on. :good

Have you noticed that Lennox ALWAYS picks against Vitali in his fights and never says really positive comments about him? But he praises Wlad ALL the time.

To praise Vit would actually boost Lennox's resume in people's eyes imo, but it seems Lewis doesn't care about that and prefers to wind him up

Promotor Forgot than LENNOX is already 43 years OLD...and he has not fought since 2004!

If a fighter is 43 YRS old and has not fought for over four years WHAT KIND OF FIGHT DO YOU EXPECT?!

It would have been better if the fight was made less than a year after they first met.

WHAT REALLY happened? Why was there no immediate REMATCH?

It´s too late for a rematch, stupid idea IMO.
Lennox has nothing left to prove, and Vitaly wouldn´t prove anything
by beating LL at this point.

If LL felt that he din´t need to prove himself in a rematch back then, why would he do it now ? I think he´s got enough $ without making a come back at this age.

I hope Lewis stay retire. He was a great Champion and had nothing to proof. He won the first fight by TKO 6.
