Seen in other articles that the fight will take place in Germany, not sure about the contracts.

Fair enough. I'll still be cheering for Peter though.

Then, hopefully, Wlad will get a chance to fight for the vacated WBC title.

Entertaining, Vitali is going to murder this clown in 4 rounds, layoff or no layoff.

That's probably the most ******ed thing posted in this thread. "STOPPED" is a nice term to use considering what happened in those 2 fights. Klitschko quit once with a rotator cuff injury and the second time it was on cuts.

You're telling me Scam Cheater can't knock out James Fat Toney but he can stop Vitali who has never even been knocked down once....

Don't think so man, Vitali is coming off a 4 year lay-off with career ending injuries and always had stamina issues anyway. If Peter handles Vitali's power early then the fight is all his in my opinion. Knowing Peter's style he will also force Vitali to move and throw a lot to back Peter off, otherwise Peter will be on him trying to land his own and Vitali fights totally different than his brother.

4 year layoff + delicate body = nighty night vitali. sam is fairly awful but you can't expect to just jump back in the ring after four ****ing years and expect to pick up where you left off. especially at his age and with his injury record.

anyone overlooking the layoff as nothing more than a minor inconvenience is a doofus.

While I agree with you about the long lay-off and injuries part, I do not recall Vitaly having stamina problems. In fact he was one of the very few HW that had an extremely high output throught the whole fight, with always decent power behind it. In addition, Peter by no means is a stamina monster himself.

For a Klitschko hater you start more threads about them & post in threads about them than anyone else here. Is it your personal mission in life to discredit (2) professional fighters? Get a life.

Great news. At last a Klitschko that can fight in the heavyweight division. I think it would've made more sense for Vitali to have a warm-up fight (or two? or three?) to shake off the years of ring-rust before taking on the WBC champion, but if he feels confident then great news for us, it's another big fight for '08. I pick Vitali to win by late stoppage after a close, brutal battle.
