    "Gym MyGymus" :rofl

Fair enough, Vitali has been a bit brittle toward the end of his first boxing career but they were all legit injuries. He had surgery to repair atorn rotator cuff, multiple back surgeries & a bone spur removal from his back as well as multiple knee & hand injuries.

This will be Vitali vs Danny Williams 2 if Vitali is anywhere near his former self. We will have to see.

I much prefer Vitali to Wlad because he is one vicious S.O.B. in there most of the time. He's not as nice as Wlad is and the difference between their styles is like night and day. I can't stand Wlad's fights these days.

Yeah, that's one of the things that makes him such an exciting and entertaining fighter...................... Vitali goes after his opponent when he gets hit. A good shot to the head makes him ready to mix it up and exchange.

And with Peter being his opponent, this should get real exciting, REAL fast.

I just pray that Wlad is also training at the same time, so If Vitali pulls out, he's ready to step in, KTFO of Peter, and unify another belt.

If Vitali makes it through training camp it's an 8th round TKO.

 I 'd like to join your prayers.

I will try to buy a ticket and watch Vitaly's return live in Germany's capital Berlin. Guess that the available tickets will be sold out within a very short time.

I bet Vitali's return to the ring will pack em in, yes. Not to mention he's fighting one of the top four, or so, heavies, COLD with no tuneups.

I hope its regular HBO, but I suspect it'll be PPV.

Solid post. I have given this fight some thought. I think Peter's best chance is early, but he won't go for the KO early. Peter fights and advances behind his jab. He won't beat Vitlai this way.

I like Vitlai around round 8 if he is 75% of what he was in 2004. Of Course the wild card is how much does Vitlai have left. Unkown to us, but Vitlai knows. I tend to think Vitlai would stay retired if he didn't spar well in the gym.

It sucks Showtime is not showing this fight live but on tape delay. Guess I will just have to watch it on the internet. Vitali is going to beat Peter to a pulp.

VK cares less about the money, it's pride. Who else would you put in that realm?
He wants retribution and recognition. He knows he's let people down-due to injuries-and wants to re-establish himself before he rides off into the sunset.
    He's a class act.
He ARRIVED A LITTLE TOO LATE ON THE Heavyweight scene.
    Vitali KO's Tyson in 1996!
