Is it me, or did Fedor look like **** trying to strike with Arlovski??? except for the last punch, but Arlovski leaped into that with his hands down.

 

Yea, lol. Thats why he has problems with faster opponents. He doesn't great striking ability but he's very fast and throws to kill. This made him beat better strikers standing up.

 

Yeah he just looked much more cautious against Arlovski then anyone else. He had never really fought a guy so big and skilled and fast as Andrei though and fought a smart fight. i wonder if he was intentionally giving Arlovski the confidence to open up and leave himself open, knowing his chin was suspect.

 

I know he said that he purposefully wasn't pushing the pace too much because he knew Arlovski is prone to making mistakes.
