http://steverattlesnake.cliquezone.com/2010/08/vadim-finkelstein-on-brock-vs-carwin- Speaking with championat.ru: Iam surprised that such a powerful organization like the UFC presents the viewers with second-rate product in disguise of the fight for the championship in the heavyweight division. Aging by leaps and bounds Carwin against runner Lesnar. I personally have no interest in the fight, Lesnar won in his usual manner due to his physical strength by choking his opponent out.
Finkelstein is a snake as well, but he is right. Carwin/Lesnar sold out of a hype baby. Not on a truly good fight. 2 slow overrated fighters who gas after 2 minutes.atsch
Tell me, what's raging in the world of mma outside of the UFC disregarding Fedor, Nick Diaz and Aoki?
Oh but it was, it was for the coveted WAMMA HW championship belt. Remember WAMMA? It was going to show the UFC how things were to be done, it was going to give us real champions. :rofl If you mean the strikeforce belt, you're right they really keep their standards high. Instead of Fedor vs Rogers we got Overeem vs Rogers after rogers lost to Fedor, much better.
The Fedor v Rogers fight was much better than the Carwin v Lesnar fight. At least with the Rogers v Fedor both men actually traded punches and not a display of running away and getting an all body cramp after 4 minutes.
And Bonner Griffin was probably more entertaining, doesn't make it a better match. Also, it is a huge stretch to call a massive comeback followed by Brock applying a textbook arm triangle less exciting than Rogers being slightly less terrible than expected.
Considering it was one of the largest PPV's in the history of the sport, the second in fact, I would be an idiot to say that. You are an idiot if you don't consider that match PPV worthy.
Yeah, I'm the idiot for not drinking the kool-aidatsch You probably think Andersons fight saturday will be his toughest challenge yet.:-( Keep feeding the hype machine your money. That's what it eats. And it shits out mindless fanboys like yourself.:good
It was a massive comeback, and it was a textbook arm triangle. Dispute either of those, I'm curious as to how you can? You could clearly see Lesnar looking to his corner for advice on how to get that extra bit of pressure on the choke, and it worked.
