Hagler on points. Would Valdez be Hagler's toughest challenger, though?

I was very impressed with Rodrigo in his fierce Trilogy with Bad Benny Briscoe, for an attacking fighter by Nature he knew, and probably knew fairly soon that that was Playing the Philly Dreadnought's Game... so Rodrigo had to vend some Classy boxing and Mobility, to Matador the Hard Charging Benny, and grit his teeth and come through some imposed trench warfare, and Rodrigo performed magnificiently, in the process becoming the only fighter to Terminate Bad Bennie before the Final bell, he also Dropped Monzon in their second encounter, So Single Shot Punching Power is on his Menu as well...

However, Marvin's chin is Legendary, and he brings a Versatility that Bad Bennie never possessed, Marvin is quite capable of Boxing with Rodrigo on even terms..Before bringing the Storm...Rodrigo was not a big Brusier Middle like Hamsho or Roldan, so i suspect that once Marvin has overlayed his Rhythm on Rodrigo. the Pebbles will become a Landslide.. I feel Marvin will not Respect Rodrigo like perhaps he did Duran,, so once he has Mapped Rodrigo he will navigate his way to a classy Dismissal circa 9th perhaps... If Marvin is in a Destruct and Destroy Mood

Hagler by close but unanimous decision. He was more versatile. He could outbox the strong, hardpunching, but hardly fleetfooted Columbian.
