Listen troll. Quigg probably won't beat the Top 5 best featherweights in the world, it's a very strong division, but he handles everyone else.

I'd like to see Galahad against Valdez lol see how long he'd last haha!

So if you can’t beat the top 5 featherweights where do you go? You’re not going to be world champion so what do you do? You’ve answered my own question for me.

Do what Chris Eubank Jr did before he fought Groves and lost. Pick up a joke trinket and call yourself a world champion whilst cherry picking made to measure opponents. Many a successful boxing career has been based on that strategy.

The only thing I took from this fight is the state of Quigg's face/

    Absolutely horrific.

Fortunately for him he wasn't that pretty to begin with.

3 of the governing bodies don't have Quigg in the top 15 - only the WBO had him no.10.
Been given a paper belt at super-bantam and then losing it meekly doesn't make you a top featherweight.
We all want to see Galahad step up. Hopefully this year is the year

And back to the point earlier in the thread about his move over to the wildcard. Any one think he’s a better fighter for doing this? He looks to me to have regressed.

Basic bury caveman, I don’t want to give quigg any credit for that fight I don’t believe for a second he intentionally didn’t make weight, but to skip the check weight the next day then to just box like he’s a heavyweight and try and throw Valdez around the ring left a bad taste for me.

Quiggs face was mental after that. Looked like a Kling-on

Only IBF do a check weight so he was right not to agree to one. I think he was in the wrong not making the weight but once he didn't and was told he couldn't try and lose it Valdes Team then had a decision to make about the taking the fight or not.

I see Quigg broke Valdes jaw as well as his teeth. Valdes showed how to fight when hurt in such a way, like a warrior. Wish him a speedy recovery, was a great fight.

Was I the only one who thinks Quigg was terrible last night. Despite coming in a s a welterweight weight bully he stumbled around the ring like a drunken caveman at times. It's all over for Quigg. He is shot. His wild looping punches looked like they were travelling through treacle....like a bad swimmer floundering in the water. As for his accuracy!!

So a welterweight can live with a featherweight. Big deal. That's what we have weight classes for.

He needs to retire today before he gets hurt.

Also roach is useless....just a celebrity trainer now. Both Quigg and roach need to get out of boxing.

I don’t know where Quigg goes after this. The lighter the weight, the greater the emphasis on fundamentals such as speed, footwork, movement, elusiveness...yet Quigg neglects these attributes and scraps like a Neanderthal. Taking an absolute beating along the way. It’s easy pickings for world level fighters.

He just seems lost. He’s lacking an identity, and seems inbetween styles. He’s trying to come away from the style Gallagher had him sticking to, but can’t seem to adopt the improvements that Roach will be drubbing into him.

Agree with him getting seriously hurt. It might not be in the ring immediately but he’s definitely going to suffer some long term damage with the amount of shots he eats.

That was the worst Scott Quigg I’ve seen that last night. He’s not going to win a world title again, he’s had a few decent pay days and he looks spent. I think it’s a shame but he should genuinely consider retirement.
