Valero always had the "crazy eyes" going, but I figured it more Duran-esque in the sense that he could harness it into destroying his opponents.

Apparently, he took it few steps too far.

My father drank until he had scirrosis (sic) of the liver, his blood vessels would burst would burst every time he accidentally brushed against a sharp corner, and he went from being a boxer in the Marine Corps from ages 18 to 22 to being an old, old man at 42 who died in bed in his mother's house. With a liter of Calvert's whiskey right beside the bed.

I NEVER saw him have fun drinking, and I never saw him not drinking. He went on antabuse and conditioned his body to drink right throught it. He did it under a compulsion. Myself, I rarely drink. My sister drinks everyday, and my brother is a meth addict. Personally, I do believe alcoholism and addiction is a genetic condition. I got lucky.

If my memory of Lutheran High schooling is serving me correctly, there are an actual total of 613 commandments in the Bible.

Most of the time there's something physically wrong with the brain, something visible to a cat scan.

That all depends on your religious background. If you're not a Christian, than the commandments mean very little to you. I can't call someone mentally unstable just because they broke one of the ten commandments.

So you are born wanting to kill people instead? Luck of the draw, aye? I'm sure environment and upbringing isn't the least bit relevant then.

Reg, I understand what you're trying to say, but you really don't need to go there, or take it that far as my post is more about Valero, and not the commandments... If you feel you can nitpick this, fine go ahead...butif you aren't religious, then you're just looking at the words as words...nothing more.
