Mostly correct, but from what I've read it's not so much that a psychopath can learn right from wrong as it is that he can learn thru observation what SOCIETY considers right and wrong. He doesn't feel the distinction himself.

Wouldn't it be an idea to read the reports before you start making threads?

Why spear off on a different & childish direction because you don't have anything to say? I didn't say I know a tonne about psychopaths, and I don't claim to have the knowledge and how to treat one.

'Upbringing might keep a psychopath from becoming a murderer.'

So upbringing does maintain some relevance now? Thanks.

This is not the thread for personal Pacquiao agendas. Please reconsider next time.

    There goes Nallege's father figure.

Poor Nal lost in his mother's basement without no one to guide him.

There's a difference between 'violent behavior' and having no more empathy for your fellow human beings than you would for a ribeye steak. Also, you can genetically be a 98 lb weakling, but if you hit the gym everyday for 10 years you're going to look pretty impressive. Genetics gives you a predisposition with varying degrees of intensity. It's not a command line in a computer. That said, you cannot bodybuild yourself out of cancer. Do you see what I'm saying here?

You're obviously knowledged on the subject. I believe there's a bit of a balance, and maybe the line is drawn differently for different individuals. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that be nature vs. nurture? You start with what you're born with and develop into what society shapes you to be.

Back to the point, didn't you say alcoholism and addiction or genetic condition? So how can people be cured to the extent of which they may never drink again if it's genetic and 'in the mind'?

You think this thread is getting all this reaction withOUT the details having already been revealed? You don't think it was self defense or something like that now do you? I can't speak for the rest, but I have all the details I need.
