good, but anyone else feel slightly uneasy about this, the kid had a massive motorcycle accident and according to some shouldn't be in the ring, i would hate to see something serious happen to him

btw why did he turn prescott down?

Yeah he turned Prescott down because he thinks he's worthy of fighters the calibre of JMM which is just ridiculous. I think a fight with Casa would be brilliant at this point in time for both.

As for feeling 'uneasy'- I think he's in the right hands. He had bleeding on the brain but he doesn't have a disposition to clot. I could go in depth here as I have a clotting disorder but I'll save you a boring read:good. If a doc says he's OK, then that's enough as far as I'm concerned.

EDIT: Just noticed this is up on the general. ****, there goes my small moment with a scoop:-:)lol:.

Hopefully he gets into the US mainstream soon. To be honest i started off liking Valero but the general turns me against so many fighters these days.

Casa vs Valero would be a good fight

I hardly ever visit the general anymore, tbh. It's not the place for rational boxing debate. I hardly ever saw any PW threads before but it's exlpoded this month. I have been a huge PW fan for ages but now all of a sudden the general has been going nuts over him. He does deserve big fights, though. Tim Bradley is another example of the general at it's worst- he's extremely talented but when you see threads saying that Bradley is on his way to being an ATG you just give up:patsch:lol:.

IMO, WWM is one of the few good Yankee posters on the GF. RJJ mania was hilarious: 'Who can showboat better than RJJ?'. Bearing in mind that these morons went ape**** over JC doing the same thing to RJJ. The RJJ that fought JC was different to the one that fought Lacy as well:roll:.

Watched a good few Valero fights looking forward to seeing if his power is as good as his resume makes out.

Is Valero as good as his record? fighting in Japan, his opposition may not be of too high standard?
Replays is a good thing too, hope that catches on.

wow, hope its not too serious mate :good

he may not have a disposition to clot as a normal person, but he's getting hit on the head for a living.

Linares is one who needs more mainstream attention then valero, tbh i'm not fully sold him just yet, casa counters him all night even at this stage

I'm glad others are liking the idea of a Casa fight as well:good. Ben mentioned one off the bat earlier- Valero-Katsidis. Can you imagine that? Katsidis wins, for me- they all just don't fall over and if there's anyone out there who can break Valero's resolve, it's Katsidis, IMO. I really wanna see just how good Valero can be- he needs these sort of fights because we're all asking questions.

Shame he'll get thrashed and stopped as soon as he makes a genuine step up.

Anyone from a moving-up Soto to the Escebedo-Katsidis winner would annihilate him.

From what I've seen, categorically: NO.

Linares is an even more protected fighter.

The fact they have both won titles in two weight divisons shows how how easy it is to blag your way through Modern boxing.
