2 years ago today he died :-(

He was a violent, dangerous man who did unforgivable things but he was a very, very good fighter who we never saw the best of.

I find it hard to watch his best performance against DeMarco because his wife & kids are ringside.

I agree, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't have been great.

Valero would've spanked Pacquiao. That's why Pacquiao had 1 fight at 135 and left. He didn't want none of Valero and he wanted none of Marquez Pacquiao is supposed to be the p4p king and he dipped out of a division where he would've had some evil fights. Guys like Baby Bull Diaz called Pacquiao out. Pacquiao fought 1 guy at 135 and bounced. Valero would've spanked him. He had the intensity to match Pacquiao's firepower but he has more skill in doing so. I think that would've played a major factor. Pac doesn't do well against sound boxers.

Yeah, that's why he only had one bout at 135lbs. He didn't go on to fight much bigger men at all. :deal

De Marcos was still green when he fought Valero.I believe he got overwhelmed by Valero relenteness despite the facial cut, kind of scary face and aggression.
Demarcos is today a better fighter.

Go crawl back under your alt mother****er.

Valero would've beat both Marquez and Pacquiao in my opinion. He had the firepower to beat both.

    some entertaining responces in here..

i was on that bvandwagon riding high with Valero..not just the venezolano connection but he looked very special had potential to do some big things.

I remember the last fight that was planned for him was against Prescott (when he was still making noise from the khan bout etc). Then that crumbled and then that tragedy happened.
