look man, not to diss on valero, he might or might not be what you make him out to be, but just simply stating the facts. let's say a pacquiao-valero fight did happen. the casual boxing fan will ask, who's valero? the answer will be, well he ko'd some dude called mosquera. then the next question will be, who's mosquera? he needs a fighter that's a name or at least has fought on hbo or showtime. he needs a katsidis, juarez, or linares

I am asking you about this Prescott TV deal with you said is partly or all responsible for Valero not being able to fight him. And you intentionally REFUSE to say any more on that. If you actually knew, it would be nothing to say what the hold up is. But when you go out of your way to NOT answer, it shows you're full of ****.

 

Damn, this would have been a pretty good slugfest. Prescott showed some solid boxing skills in his last fight, but it told me his power is overrated. Valero would have put the hurt on him, but the guy thinks he's Mosley and can turn down fights for prospects of a big fight. Him and his team need to STFU and put in work or be willing to go in different divisions like Paul Williams.

 

The difference is that Pac DID have to take short money years ago vs. Ledwaba, Morales 1 & 2, Barerra 1, etc. He paid his dues, and now he is the guy with the juice. Valero cant expect to steamroll a few cab drivers and then holler "show me the money". He needs to pay his dues first against recognizable opponents.
