He should not be allowed in the ring.

    well i'm split.

i think boxing will take a severe blow if he does get injured.

but yet again you could have a perfectly healthy fighter suffer the same fate.

i think berrera is in the same position...they dont get that big a deal.

Guys like Manny Pacquiao and JMM are a completely and utterly different caliber than anything Valero has ever experienced. ****; Robert Guerrero is in a different league than most of Valero's opponents have been.

What you are talking about can happen to any fighter who enters the ring.

I hope that there is a respected doctor who has cleared Valero though.

Yes, I know it can happen any time you fight; every one of us who boxes faces that risk. But someone like Valero, for example, who has a history of a traumatic brain injury, is at much higher risk than someone like myself, for example, who has no such history.

Very good news , could mean some big match ups at 130 .

Now someone correct me if I'm wrong but the original medical test he failed to stop him fighting in the US was because he never declared he had that surgery , not that because the condition he was in wasn't to a safe medical standard .

Afterwards he knew it would take ages to get cleared(like Mesi , who actually shouldn't be fighting) so he just fought abroad instead .

He was sanctioned to fight in both France and Japan , neither country would be lax on medical procedure before fights .

He was banned because he had suffered a fractured skull and undergone surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain, if memory serves. He actually suffered his injury in a far more dangerous fashion than Mesi; who suffered it from taking punches.

Yes, and I said it was unfortunate, because he shouldn't be permitted to box. It's not something I want to see happen, but it's more likely than with a boxer who hasn't suffered the injury he has. So go wash the sand out of your *****.
