now that Valero got rid of old man Pitalua i would love to see him fight Guzman.

then we would see the difernce between an hypejob and a very good fighter.

Guzman would humilliate that ugly Midget,he would look like a fool trying to hit Guzman with those wild punches.

That would be an awesome fight, you couldn't ask for a better clash of styles. I think the styles would clearly favour Guzman but I'd see a competitive fight because you know Valero is going to throw a lot of punches and back you up. Guzman has the tools to deal with that, he's used to it infact.

stylistically guzman would be a nightamare for valero, when they exchange in the middle of the ring guzman would get his punches off first and would be too quick for valero. also with guzman defensive abilities it would be hard fo valero to find him, and if he does catch guzman then it wouldn't make a difference because guzman has an excellent chin.

there's no chance of the fight taking place in the near future. bob arum will keep valero as far away from guzman as possible. he doesn't want valero to go to the same skool as soto and get in the ring with guzman.

i just hope guzman gets his shot at moses and becomes marquez's mandotary for the WBA.

Yeah It suck's for Guzman, cause time is defo no longer on his side. (Age) Alot of time/fight's wasted just waiting around for a big fight.

unfortunate for him, cause he defo has skills. But in all honesty I don't see him ever getting a chance to fight the Pac's/JMM's/Hatton's ect...

that wouldn't be fair for Valero, putting him against a small name with incredible ability. the casual fan will think he got beaten by a bum, when really that no-name is the only man that can legitimately challenge Marquez for supremacy at lightweight.

Arum will keep Valero far the hell away from Guzman, the way everyone else does.

Perfect fight for Valero and Guzzy. Both are on the fringe of being ELITE....Contrasting styles...one POWERFUL, RUGGID and Wild...the other Smooth, Fluid and finess. Both one level under the "Creme de la Creme" Elite level.

Ed could put Joan to sleep or Ed could get horribly out boxed but it would put the winner in a great position for their careers. I'd got with Ed by KO but behind on the cards before landing his money punch.

Guzman has a very good chin and a very good defense,Valero wouldnt lay a glove on him even if he does he wouldnt KO him.

Valeros power is overrated so far he only koed bums when he fought a C-level fighter in Mosquera he needed ten rounds to knock him out and was on the floor himself.

Joan has proven to be TOO cute at times and winds up leaving himself open. If he makes one mistake he can be hurt or out completely. I agree that stylistically Joan could out box Ed pretty easily but like Bute vs Andrade I feel eventually Ed will find a home for his power and Joan's lack of power won't be able to discourage Edwin over a 12 round fight.

If you think Ed's power is over rated that is fine.....but you can not doubt the kid has POWER! He not only KO's guys but he actually puts them to sleep. Often a fight ends in a TKO or a KO where the guy is trying to get up....very seldom do we see a ref not even make an attempt to count, but in Ed's fights that is more the norm than not. He has power...how good? no one really knows but his stats are telling a story most should take note of.

ive never seen Guzman hurt in the ring not even against Soto who is a good pucher too.

in this fight i got to go with the more proven fighter and the more skilled fighter in Guzman, for me stats mean little unless youre doing your thing against good oposition,a great example is Lamar Clark he had something like 39 kos in 40 fights all against weak oposition then he fought a young Cassius Clay and was koed in the first round.

but i respect your opinion even if i dont agree.
