    What are YOU smoking?

This is an aggressive fighter you're talking about with a suspect chin charging in wide open against Hatton. Hatton proved he can be competitive in the world class level, what has Valero proved lately?

Hatton would be BY FAR the best opponent Valero ever came close to if he signs for that fight.

Thanks for your reply. Another question..... If JMM defeats (I don't expect this outcome, but who knows) Floyd, then you think that a fight between Floyd and Pac still makes sense??????????

To me, it is still makes sense.... Styles make fights.....

Valero is nothing but the product commercialization from the Bob Arum hype machine.

The dude has done nothing to warrant a big fight, he has not even proved himself against a credible opponent yet.

Valero is a obviously a big puncher but he is delusional. He needs some fights on the level of Katsidis to get his name built up. He is a 1 dimensional slugger who would be exposed against Pac.

Since when does having the worst record from all the titlists in boxing give him the right to anything.

Unless either one loses and needs an easy tune up fight for they´re comeback JMM and Pac shouldnt waste they´re time with that bum

    Exactly.
Pacman probably has two or three fights ahead of him before retiring. It would be a godamn waste to fight Valero in one of those three bouts when names such as Mosley, Mayweather and Maquez are in the mix.

I don't get the hate for Valero but I'll be mildly amused at the haters reactions as he continues to be successful. He's improving under Alcazar. Used his jab and kept perfect distance against Pitalua. He had only worked with Robert Alcazar for 3 or 4 weeks before the fight, on top it, he hadn't even fought for about a year.

First off, I didn't question how long you were a PAc fan. I'm talking about joining with Pac fans dissing Valero in THIS thread. I said you just jumped in and criticized Valero like all of the other PAc fans. Second, I don't see any similarities with Valero and AM...not even their talking. Third, Valero does need a win over a name guy to get a fight with Pac, or get PAc to notice him. Arum can make that happen, but I don't see it happening any time soon. And lastly, Valero is not nearly as bad as you seem to think he is.

All fights can make sense but it won't be big enough, so my answer is no. Pacquiao will fight JMM in a third fight and take it from there, might not even bother to fight with Mayweather even after that if he doesn't consider retirement.

At this stage it's all about biggest money and mega events for these three guys. In terms of legacy and proof they have already done more than enough and people are free to see and judge. Now it's the fights that bring the big bucks and fighting someone coming off a loss is too much risk with no reward.
