There is no opponent that I can envision being able to stop Valero. He's got too much of everything. Pac and JMM are about to become old news if they fight Edwin.

CHERT^^ He already did beat a solid B level title holder in Loco Mosquera... It was the way he beat him too.. In the champ's backyard and everything... He overcame a knockdown and proved that he can fight through adversity.. El Inca has a heart..

Pacman needs to be very scared right now. He thought he was safe now that Chi's retired but ohhh no.. Valero is here.

I agree. Guzman may be very skilled but there is no way he could hold Valero off. When Guzman does his rope-a-dope and try's to miss shots, it would be all over! Guzman just does not have the power.

AHAHAAHA!:rofl Love Ed and all but I'm not drinking the tainted KoolAid that few extreme fanatics are pushing. I know Pac Fans or "*******s" are bad.....but at least they have a soild foundation with a long list of accomplishments backing up their "wild claims" of how good he is. With Ed there are really only his Power and a nice shiny undefeated record against extremly average foes to have this kind of off the wall praise. I'm sorry but with or with out PACs talent....the style PAC employs presently matched against what Ed has been showing us is all wrong. PAC would beat Ed or at least this version of Ed if he didn't enjoy the speed, reflexes and experience advantages.....but since this is reality PAC does have those advantages which makes it damn near impossible for Ed to actually beat PAC. He has a punchers chance as do many who all fell before PAC to get to the top of the heap in boxing.

What is with this "punchers chance" ****? While Edwin may KO his opponents with any punch at any given time, he physically breaks down his opponents in brutal fashion. The only way anyone might survive 12 rounds is to run..run..run..and hope they don't get tired! He does everything as good as Pac, and some things much better.

i disagree. mosquera is probably C+, B- at most. but being KD'd by him makes valero questionable against solid B level opposition, much more with A level and Elite P4P fighters. mosquera isn't even considered a big puncher but he was able to KD valero.

Actually that was VERY impressive for Ed.....although Ed had some rough spots against Mosquera whom honestly is a B level fighter who is soild technically, Ed was able to win by KO over 10 rounds I believe. But Mosquera isn't a big puncher and Ed's chin is a question mark. He was shook but he showed why I feel he'll be a force down the road against the likes of JMM the PACs of the boxing world. But right now.....he's got too many technical flaws that would prevent him from getting to the next plateau in his boxing career. I'd love to see him fight both men now but if I were Ed or his team I'd stay away from the TECHNICALLY sound and proven champions at 135 or 140. Joan would be a good test for Ed although that style match up is wrong as well, but Joan isn't quite on the level of PAC or JMM.

I like how he is a "very special fighter" after beating up on a 39yr old journeyman...yet all the shot excuses and refusal to give credit when Pac beats up on 29-34yr old ATG's. :)

    :shock::shock:

The only positive thing I see in him is his killer instinct.
He would get ab-so-lutely embarrassed by Guzman and JMM. Gamboa would punish him. Even an old Casa would be able to beat him imo.
    Valero is SOO damn limited.

Not me, Danger... I realized his special qualities after seeing him spar live in person... and this was like 5 years ago.. But the Mosquera fight really confirmed my belief that this guy has it... :deal

Believe me, Valero is Pac's worst nightmare.

"****"?? It's not **** to have a punchers chance Jeff ol'boy. And Ed enjoys that quality. Unfortunately it's true...he has little time to break 90% of his oppoents down b/c most of the time they are out within the first 3 mins.

With Ed's rep and his overall level of opposition it's clear as day to see that MOST....and I say "MOST"....NOT ALL, are already scared, fighting scared and mentally out of the fight before the first bell. Vic Darchinan has this going for him as well.

For Vic however he's faught TOP level opposition and they fell before him....ED hasn't done this yet. His best name.....if you want to call it that, on his record is Mosquera.

Ed has skills....he shows that in sparring all the time....but he fights completely different in the ring. Wild and very unpolished or ruggid.

I really hope Valero becomes a "special" fighter before Pac retires. That way Pac can add another special scalp to his resume!

Valero, Gamboa, Khan...interesting how these 3 will be seen in 2-3 years from now. Valero a bit more accomplished so the other 2 has some catching up.

Valero no doubt can punch hard but can he take some, especially from elite fighters? that is still to be seen..

The only thing that happens to Valero when he gets hit is he just gets mad and KO's his opponents.
