People refuse to be impressed with someone that they called overrated to begin with. His flaws exist in his lack of advanced training to be honest. Give him a trainer that will work on his strengths and how to fix his weaknesses. someone like Brother Nazim or Nacho would be great.

demarco really showed a lot of heart. he was getting his ass handed to him, and he did not quit. his corner stopped it, and they stopped it about a round too late imo.

Hell yes. Especially after they found out they were ahead 4 rounds to none.

I disagree strongly. As always, time will tell. But I know what I saw tonight, and that was a legendary performance.

I notice that same trend with so many on ESB, black or white. I'm not saying this particular individual is guilty of it, but I have absolutely noticed it. No names mentioned. Uhh-huh-huh-Farmboxer.

thats mainly because Valero threw his combos and then quickly distanced before demarco could do anything. imo Tony looked confused...

I agree. I think DeMarco is an excellent fighter who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He inadvertantly crossed paths with a future legend. The outcome should be credited to how good Valero is, not how bad DeMarco is, because he isn't at all.

I beg for Valero to get better trainers and a better camp. Get him to work out those few kinks and I would put him on a truly great level, he has more skills that I was ever willing to believe he could have before this fight. And no this is not a case of me seeing one fight and blowing it out of proportion. DeMarco is an excellent fighter, but every time he tried to mount an offense Valero punched between landed him combination with force, and then proceeded to pull back and avoid any counters by DeMarco.

I was shocked amazed blown away and won over by that performance. Even if he doesn't fix his kinks he will always be fun to watch and I look foward to te rest of a great career.

Impressive performance for Valero. Just think how this fight would have been if Demarco did not have a good chin. Also, I wonder if Freddie Roach was watching this fight, I'm sure he was. Do you think Freddie Roach might want to train Valero in the future?
