I've been waiting for a while to see Edwin Valero fight in front of the boxing public for a while now. Until he his exposed as many of you believe he will be lol, I'm going to promote him as the best lightweight today lol. He might be fighting Antonio Pitalua. He is a big power punching Colombian who has a lot of ko's inside 3 rounds also. He is the WBC interim champ, but he is 38 years old and coming of that win over Santa Cruz. I expect Valero to ko Pitalua in 3 or less. What do you guys think?

Valero can box pretty well. Most dumbasses on here don't know that but it's true....
I think Valero KOs him, I don't think it will come early though

Yeah, he is becoming very patient. People have youtubed his past fights and have pretty much made up their minds. Valero can box when he wants to. Barrera can tell you that Valero is the truth.

He should fight Humberto Soto instead. It would be a tougher fight.

Also in the sparring session with Morales, Valero got in that ass real good....other than a handful of right hands Valero dominated the great Morales with suprising ease....yea its sparring but still

his fight with Mosquera was a classic, too bad Mosquera went off the deep end afterwards.

Soto is probably going to fight for the vacant title at 130, or a rematch with the guys he lost too in that controversial fight...

I'm not really surprised that pitulua beat santacruz. He has been ranked
pretty high as a jr welter for awhile now. His decision to drop to 135 was obviously a smart one as he is now fighting for an interim world title, or the no. 1 spot for the world title as the fans know it.

I said he should fight him. I am pretty sure Soto would take the fight if it was offered to him.

Seeing as Mosquera rocked Valero, and he isn't a massive puncher, I actually see Valero getting K.O'd in this one.

I like Valero, he's very exciting to watch, I'm just not convinced on his power. Who has he beaten??? He hasn't K.O'd anyone of even Santa Cruz's quality, and for that reason alonme I'm going for Pitulata. Would love to be proved wrong though, as I say, Valero is very fun to watch.

As long as he stays active then it's good, the big fights will come soon anyway.

Yeah, but it wasn't offered to him. Why would he fight Valero when he can fight for Valero's vacant title, or rematch the guy that he was beating and got DQ'd fighting???
