    Prime for prime Marquez would beat him but these days he is just too slow in both offense and defense. He is at the end of his career and way past his best, why do you think Floyd picked him?

    Answer = Marquez' P4P status

    To bulk him, make him look fat and slow, finally cheat him on the scale.

    JMM actually wanted the fight at 142 lbs, Mayweather was'nt willing to come that low.......they finally settled at 144 lbs, and Mayweather went two pounds over that.

    .......thats 4 lbs over for Mayweather where Marquez really felt he had a chance physically against Mayweather.

    ***** move by Mayweather no doubt, but its over and done with now.

    yeah it's over and done, but still a top notch dodgy move. It seems up to now, Nacho hasn't gotten over that circus or sort of "gangup" of GBP+Mayweather Promostions vs. JMM/Nacho. Judging by how he reacted on Schaefer's Khan offer, and since JMM can't be contacted by GBP according to that article - he seems bitter too.

    Would be a GREAT fight, Valero is somewhat similar to Pacquiao, who produces fantastic fights with JMM. I will say this: Valero's power didn't seem to be as good as Pac's at 135. But on the other hand, JMM has been in a lot of wars and isn't getting any younger...

    They've sparred before leading up to JMM-Pac 2 so Im guessing deep down they know who is the better of the 2 :)

    Based on JMM's performance against Diaz, Im saying Valero by stoppage.

    Well it took Pac 9 rounds to stop David Diaz and it wasn't like Diaz was concentrating on defense nor is he tall and lanky like DeMarco. It's not easy to KO someone purely in survival mode without getting ridiculously wild when going about it.

    Marquez by close decision. Marquez wins more rounds but Valero scores a knockdown or 2. This fight would go like the Pac fight but a little more convincing for Marquez.

    And your basing this on Valero's RTD of Demarco:think
