Ic alot of you are going against Valero.. That's great. Are u gonna put ur money where ur mouth is or are u gonna just talk out of your asses?
^^ Since you're a boxing expert, Y dont u explain to everybody why Presscott is a cherrypicked opponent.
tell me who has Presscott beat other than glass jaw Khan? why is Valero fighting Presscott instead of fighting someone like Katsidis,Juan Diaz or even Funeka all of them are available and all are better than Presscott, thats cherrypicking at its finest.
Juan Diaz or Funeka are fine but what's the deal with Katsidis??? Katsidis is a C level journeyman material and he would get stomped out real quick. I have no doubt about that. He isn't capable of testing Valero in any possible way.. A guy who blocks punches with its face would be in trouble against a concussive puncher like V-nom, seriously.. KAtsidis would get carried out on a stretcher dude.. We dont need another victor burgos situation. Presscott is undefeated and has a win over Khan so it's a good step up.. So what if he struggled with Toledo? Anyone can have an off night plus it's hard to impress against a guy who's not willing to fight... Toledo is to blame for that fight..
i agree with that. however, as someone who is often viciously attacked for not giving valero enough credit, i will say that i think beating prescott would be a good move and a good victory. win or lose, two fierce punchers mixing it up is usually a good show. both of these guys are somewhat unknown quantities, prescott more so than valero, so why not put them in together and enjoy the rumble. valero is in no danger of being outfoxed and outboxed here and prescott has had a lot of light on him since knocking out khan, so valero's people are probably smart to put him in with prescott because khan's dodgy chin gave prescott a bit of an overplayed sense of murderous power. but, prescott's detractors say he is nothing but one punch and a career of tomato cans, which is not entirely accurate either. prescott is, in fact, in possession of terrific power and has beaten a number of decent, but not quality fighters, in his career. i look forward to this fight if it goes down. i am interested, too, to see how valero's chin holds up if he is tagged with real power. this fight will probably answer some questions about both guys that have been hanging and hotly debated for a while.
It's pretty close on the polls yet nobody has the balls to bet like a man huh.. Talk is cheap.. Pussies. lol
He has a bit of name value because of his 1 round exposure of hypejob Khan. As stated before, GBP won't let Juan Diaz anywhere near Valero next because he just got KTFO by JMM. Katsidis is not interested either in Valero next and I don't blame him after eating the canvas 3 times against a weaker punching southpaw in Casamayor. Funeka would be a very good fight but he's virtually unknown. PBF already has first dibs on the winner of Pac/Hatton so JMM should just face Valero since he's already been called out. That can't be called cherrypicking when Valero has called out JMM already as well as Pac/Hatton.
Well said. Katsidis isn't C level. He's mid to lower B level based on the matchup. He'll be C level at 140.
Katsidis gave a good account of himself against Casa and Diaz and hes a bigger name than Presscott and a win over Kats would give Valero much more exposure than a win over Presscott,i also think that Katsidis despite his obvious flaws is a better fighter than Presscott who other than his right hand and his good size for a lightweight is a very crude fighter, hes basically a younger version of Pitalua. i expect Valero to get rid of him without much trouble i dont think this fight will tell us something about Valero that we dont know already. i would like to see him against Juan Diaz after hes through with Breidis.
i begg u guys plz bet against prescott and make a lot of money. brescot is gona get whooped. valero has a lot of power and some skill but prescott only has wild haymakers. he has like 2 split decision wins and knockouts against nobodys. yea Glass jaw khan got caught and taken out hooorahh!!! its not like prescott outclassed him for 12 rounds!!!
