I can see Valero KTFOing Demarco, stepping up in caliber, then getting humiliated by an A-level fighter. Hopefully an experience like that will lead to him getting a top-notch trainer and improving his fundamentals.

He has ENORMOUS potential and I think if managed/trained correctly, he could really be something special. That power is out of this world.

  2. Soto has already said he wants to fight Valero so hopefully that fight comes off.

Ripe? Nah the guys a nightmare for anybody big punch high work rate chin has not been cracked yet. Only porblem is if he keeps going up in weight he may lose the punch. Another weakness is that he has not gotten anybody good in the ring because of his venue restrictions. He is also high risk low reward unknown to many fans not on TV much no big win nobody is compelled to fight him. I'm waiting for him to get the big fight to see if he can win or if he gets exposed

Valero is fighting Hector Velazquez (IMO, is another tomato can).

Anyway, I disagree, I think Valero gets a bit underrated by many people that say he has no skill and is just a wild puncher. I see some method to his madness.

Call him out for what? Fighting and beating him doesn't carry any stature nor money.

He is a dangerous fighter because of his power other than that he is crap as you mentioned.

He should make himself available here in US to get big fights and more exposure otherwise he'll retire unnoticed.

You do know that he has restrictions that are preventing him from fighting in the states?

I think he should stay at LW for a good deal of time. Assuming he gets by Velazquez and DeMarco, which he should and do so spectacularly, there are good potential match-ups here.

Funeka and Guzman will most likely go at it again. Valero could take on the winner since it would involve having two titles on the line. It would be a huge event with two belts at stake. Then, the only names left at LW would be Katsidis and, maybe, Soto, with Katsidis being the easier of the two. Then, the top dog: JMM.

A fight with JMM within 2 years is very well within the realm of the possible since it could be a huge event in Mexico City with no need to deal with the US fight clearance. JMM may just be shot and worn enough by then that I can see Valero actually putting him away.

Yes . . . and everybody should know that.

Well he and his team and his promoter should do something to fix that problem . . . otherwise . . . don't expect big fights for him.

He can fight Funeka in Africa, Katsidis in Austrlia or Soto in Mexico that's the best fight he can get.
