Valero V Katsids please

he fought on the same card as kats last year in the US so i dont think a license is an issue, not in texas anyway

 

Valero is with Arum so the chances of Kats getting him are remote you would think. Kats has a steady relationship with GBP and has a few options with any one of their fighters but that could change...he is obviously not happy at missing out on Marquez and being given Guerrero instead (refer statement to Diaz).

On the fight, I'd give him a real good chance at knocking over Valero. For once he'd be up against a guy with worse defence than himself and he wouldn't be intimidated like Demarco was.

I picked Demarco but was extremely disappointed in him. He froze and was never in it. Not that I had a real high opinion of him but I thought he'd do better.

Funeka would give Valero hell with his size and jab. JMM would destroy the kid but he looks finished at 135 and GBP wouldn't put that one together anyway. I'd pick Juan Diaz to beat him too.

A real fun fight would be Valero v Soto. Soto has slipped imo, I'd favour Valero in that but not by much.

 

Yes good call. It must be just California and NY. I defitnitely know he had a problem with NY.

I see the great Erik Morales is coming back at a catch-weight of 142lbs. If you want a great fight for Kats and yet will bring big coin (make no mistake Morales is still a draw, a hero in fact to the Mexicans!), let him have his catch-weight return and then face Kats in Texas.

Kats can fight Diaz next, or JMM if can be made, or Guerrero and follow-up with Morales. Kats will get great money out of Diaz, JMM especially and if he can get through either of them (I believe he can), follow up with Morales!!!

Valero looked really good today, didn't panic after the cut and did show some good defence at times. I reckon he'd have too much for Katsidis.

 

I wonder how Pac would cope if he suffers a nasty gash like the one that sliced Valero open yesterday.

Given that withdrawing 5 ml of blood weakens him, I guess he'd go in to cardiac arrest.

I really hope for Pacs safety and long term health, he never suffers a cut again. clottey has a huge melon...I'm worried.

Valero destroys Kat. Kat does not have a world class chin, or world class defence. Valero would land and early and a 0.5 seconds later Kats lands on his back and a further 10 seconds later its over. Katsidis is loads of fun, but anyone wanting this fight must hate him.

 

And Valero has world class defence? It's worse than Katsidis.

valero has never fought someone like kats that will pressure him non-stop. he is use to getting his own way in the ring. no way he out muscles kats.

of course even though michael has improved his defence he will still get hit a bit, but he has only ever been hurt from one shot properly, and it was the best punch casamayor has probably ever thrown, a perfect shot almost.

but because valeros defence is very ordinary, and sometimes non-exhistant, katsidis will connect with every second punch he throws, and u know how many punches he throws per round.

it would be a fight not to miss thats for sure.

Would be an amazing fight Katsidis vs Valero...but i would back Valero to win this 1.
Valero was so impressive in his win on the wkend....tho my heart would be cheering on Katsidis of course.

I backed Valero to bash the crap out of DeMarco...watched lots of DeMarco's earlier career & knew Valero would be well too much....
