Can't really consider Gamboa overrated as he's being rated as any Gold medalist turning pro would be and well deserved.

Valero on the other hand has done nothing but try to promote his self using other people's names, pretty much like Margarito without doing anything worth mentioning.

Gamboa in his short professional career might have done more than Valero has so comparing both is unfair for Gamboa.

And of course Valero would win this. 135 with power against shaky chin at 126. Epic mismatch unless you're Steve Bunce and think Gamboa could fight at welterweight (as Buncey has said before).

 

how are they the most overrated boxers??? Cintron is overrated, Arrelao is overrated. Gamboa is the most talent fighter at 126 and Valero is already a 2 time champ.

That's an interesting matchup... this thread is plain stupid.

However, choosing who would win isn't wise either... Valero is a champ but Gamboa has been fighting way better opposition... both of them ARE (wtf is your supposedly bs) strong punchers and Gamboa's speed is ATG material. This would be one of the most exciting possible match ups simply because you know it won't last for very long.
