Steve Kim from Maxboxing.com reports iHumberto Soto is having trouble making the 130 pound weight limit so an opportunity to move up to face 135 lb. titlist Edwin Valero is now being discussed.
Now we're talking. Soto has a decent power and decent chin to hurt Valero but Valero has the KO power. I fancy Valero here to win with 60/40 odds.
Lightweight looks like its handling its own even with its 2 superstars Pac and JMM moving up. The way Valero has been talking about big fights, I doubt the fight will get made. If it does somehow happen, Ill take Valero by early TKO with himself touching the canvas atleast once as well.
seems like a good fight to me but what are the chances of it happening since valero is looking for the money fights now
valero roughs him up for a few rounds before koing him. we all saw what a fast guy can do to soto this past weekend, and while valero isnt as slick as that french canadian, his hands are just as fast.
A genuine 50-50 fight. I say Soto by K.O within five in an absolute war, but I'll be happy to be proven wrong :good
Soto is no push over. I saw the Mosqueda fight and seen Valero drop to his knee. So I pick Soto on this one within 3rds.
I'll take the Soto with 7 losses against Valero's 25 Toyota factory workers that he's fought. I wonder what undercard this would be on.
This valero is getting KTFO. Put your money on Mexican. Although, Soto got rocked by Bobby Pac. He better keep his hands up. Soto hates runners. This kid Valero is right infront waiting to get it.
