There was no winner in that fight, the loser was the fans. Valouev could have knocked Holyfield out if he had thrown a few punches and Holyfield got tired from just running around the ring. Valouev just walked. Vitali or Vlad will beat Valouev and would knock Holyfield out. Looks like Chagaev will win a decision over Valouev when they fight, Chagaev would knock Holyfield out. Sad day for boxing, but I blame both fighters for not fighting. Valouev is a much better fighter than that, I really blame his new trainer, should should be fired. Valouev can be a good fighter, this is the worst, by far, I have ever seen him and Holyfield had nothing to do with it. It's a shame that Holyfield chose to run around the ring and for Valouev to just walk. Valouev looked as if he did not care and it seems that Holyfield did not care either. The promoters should have paid the fans to watch that so-called fight!

Definitely the worse HW title fight I've seen since...Byrd-Williamson, in 2005.

But Holyfield should have been the winner. His punches were rare but looked good when they landed. Valuev's punches were rare and still looked like crap.

Only Holyfield's inactivity allowed Valuev to swipe a few rounds.
But the quality was all Evander.

Holyfield got tired from just running around the ring, if pressure had been put on him, he could not have made it. I remember when Naz hired his new trainer, ruined him, same with several others. Valouev needs to use his strong points, his strength and power, plus his jab, but did nothing. The challenger should push the fight, but did nothing. Sad...........

Imagine a prime Evander against this guy. He would have beaten him to death.

Have you seen Valouev at his best? "Before" his new trainer? This fight could have been a good one if both fighters had fought. Bowe stopped Holyfield, Toney, Cooper almost stopped him, Lewis beat him. This was not a fight and I want my money back!

Has to be one of if not THE worst fights in history, i'd rather watch ****ing Zelenoff vs Hartley. Add to that a bad decision, and its the worst event in boxing history.

In and out, side to side, pow-pow-pow to the body then away before Valuev could retaliate. Possibly even a mercy stoppage late on from the ref.

It was terrible, but lets be honest here - neither of them did enough to win. It may be romantic to back Holy but lets face facts he did nothing himself...

Williams v Audley 1 was as bad if not worse. At least the end result and the possible prospect that history was being made, kept some interest in this one.

I completely disagee with you. I enjoyed the fight, until the decision.

Evander Holyfield landed about 15 to 20 good shots that would have hurt any guy who had a weak chin. Evander did what he had to do, against what he was fighting against. Fighting someone 7 feet tall is something different, let me tell you. Also, Evander moved around so well, that to me, it took Valuev by surprise, and he didn't know what to do. Evander fought brilliantly. Like I said before, he landed about 15 to 20 good big shots. Valuev couldn't do anything, and lost the fight easily.

What you should have said, was, "this is the worst decision I have ever seen!". That's what you (or anyone else) should have said. Valuev is too big to get KO'd, and that's why Evander didn't knock him out. Evander deserves to be a 5 time champion, and it was great to see him fight again.

The announcers kept bashing the fight, and I think you are just following them. Bash the decision, not the fight.
