27, maybe. But he has got 30 pro-fights. Lets see how he perfroms against the senior citizen - Maskaev.

Always a bad sign when I guy comes in at a career high weight after a loss. Makes you questions things like motivation, dedication, etc. I was leaning towards Valuev already, this just makes me lean that way even more.

Weight is weight...Liakovich is the more skilled fighter and will win anyway.

    Liakovich UD

It seems not many share your optimism. Lyachovich has always been quite inconsistant, even at a better shape.

Fair enough, Maskaev is still a tough oppenent, aside from his recent postponements I have nothing against him. I just hope Peter is fully prepared for quite possibly his toughest fight since Wlad.

I hope he comes in good shape too, as I prefer him to win.

250.8? Wow, way too heavy for Sergei.

Yeah he's looking a little soft. Valuev almost looks thin but he could be hidding some flab under that shirt. It sure is hard to tell.

I can't believe this, I admit I was on the Liakhovich bandwagon after won the title in his best performance yet over Brewster. Now he has fought once since then losing a fight that he was winning until the final moments against Briggs. The guys seems to like these 15 month layoffs, as he was coming off one when he beat Brewster in 06'.

I have my doubts about a lot of the fighters but I never hated on Peter, unless it was a discussion with an unreasonable Peter's fan. In fact I find him quite enertaining, win or lose.

Thats cool, Peter is an enertaining fighter, I'm just a little concerned with the people they have working with Peter, it seems like Jesse Reid is has a hard time getting through to Peter, I think Roach would work well with Peter, now that he's done training Toney.

I actualy have harder time with his scumbags managers rather than people that train him.
