my friend, who is Bergeron's promoter's nephew, is watching this fight and texting me the rounds and it seems that Valuev is way ahead. he says he gave Bergeron 2 clear rounds and there's a few that could go either way
Round 10 - Valuev Valuev is backing him up, poppin the jab and hitting nice body shots. Bergerons seems to be looking for a one shot KO wich is very tupid, he should be more on his toes, box, not look for a one shot KO.
Round 10 to Valuev, for a change. He did a fairly good job of slipping the left hand from Bergeron, which suprised me. He landed a good amount of jabs (for the first time basically) and a few right handed body shots, giving him the round. His jab looked pretty hard, by the way. But he needs to do more to win the fight. Bergeron look as much as a 30-to-1 underdog (vcash betting) as Douglas was 44-to-1 against Tyson.
Round 11 - Valuev Valuev still backing him up. Valuev scored with a nice uppercut and a jab. Valuev is winning becouse he is boxing not looking for a one shot KO like Bergeron
Roudn 11 Valuev He landed a VERY nice short right hand, something you won't expect from him, but was too slow to follow up and didn't really stun Bergeron. Despite his size he lacks great power. He did land some good jabs also and does a nice job, again, of slipping the left hands from Bergeron. Seems he solved some problems but is it too late? He does keep up the tradition of coming on strong in the last rounds.
