I personally don't buy the "challenger must do more than the champ to win the title" thing. In my eyes, the best should take it and that's it.
Yesterday, Haye was the 'best'. But what a horrible fight to watch. None hardly any risks and Haye hardly threw any punches....

I am gonna need a 2 weeks cure of non stop great boxing fights to recover from that.

there is no way that last night's fight was anywhere near as mind numbingly boring as that ****ing farce of a fight. it was a much better fight then some people are making out.

Haye deserved it... It's bull**** to say a challanger has to do more, it's become a cliche in boxing. You score the fight round by round and whoever wins the most rounds wins, it's simple.

It was an awful fight but cmon wat were u expecting. Thats the way Haye had to fight to win as he's got stamina issues. Although I do think he could of got after him abit more and KO'd him.

I'd believe it was the best result for boxing. Although I don't like Haye I realize that he's going to spark some life into the HW's with his rivlary with the Klits.

I agree but it is very likely that more aggression also sees Haye getting knocked out at any time.

He was timid and I think we can all appreciate why.

EDIT: If you're still checking into this thread... y'aright Sov?? How you doing our kid??
