You are an idiot. Valuev was hurt after Haye's 1 punch and HE admitted it unlike you. Wach took Wlad's and Povetkin's best bombs for 12 rounds.

Yoa are moron obviously and have IQ of fruit fly. Valuev said it on Inter TV, when Roman Kademin asked him 'Did Haye hurt you'. He said 'Sure he hurt me, I don't deny that, but I think it wasn't enough for him to win the fight'.

Oh you don't rank Frazier even in top-30.

And rank Corbett ahead of Wladimir Klitschko.

And you rank Sullivan over Ali and Holmes.

    You are mental.

Don't bother to respond, I put you on ignore list.

Unless Sharkey "saw another vision of Ernie Schaff" he would outpoint Valuev.Baer would land enough to do the same.
Valuev could beat Stribling who was really a big lightheavy.Schmeling beats him imo.Loughran probably not ,no power and he would be tremendously outreached in a battle of jabs.
Valuev is an example of very moderate talent having a chance against significantly more talented, but also much smaller men.
In other words, at some point size does matter.

I doubt that Uzcudun would, he was a tough mauler, without skills or power, I think it would be a repeat of the Carnera fights.

The score cards weren't so positive.
2008-12-20 : Nikolay Valuev 310¾ lbs beat Evander Holyfield 214¼ lbs by MD in round 12 of 12

I wouldn't say without skills or power. He was a top contender in the heavyweight division after all. Uzcudun had a great chin too. He wasn't some Joe Louis in the skills department but it wouldn't take that much to beat Valuev.

Walker is a middle weight. Back then, there was not a huge amount of weigh between 160 and the heavyweight contender for the most part, but Walker would be way too small to beat Valuev.

I know you value wins vs. more than anything else. A few questions if I may.

    Valuev was 50-2 at heavyweight.

What was Walker's record at heavyweight?

Did Walker beat better than Holyfield, Ruiz, Donald, Liakhovich, or McCline at heavyweight?

I'd say both he was slow as molasses, predictable and not a puncher.

I thought he overated Walker but he did beat:
    Uzcudun
    Risko
    Levinsky
    Christner
He doesn't make my top 100 and Valuev is too big for him, imo.

Agreed. Too big, and he has the better resume at heavyweight.

    Yes.

Ruiz, Donald, Holyfield and McCline were unranked and in some cases busted names. Liakhovich may still have been somewhere near the bottom off the ten still, but was coming of a stoppage loss to Briggs. You've produced one ranked opponent here.

Walker on the other hand has Levinsky (5), ranked higher than Liakhovich and a win at heavy over the LHW champ Rosnebloom; many of his names are busted, like Valuev's, but the draw with Sharkey puts him over the top. If Levinsky isn't the best result - era on era - that either man has, it's Sharkey.

I'm satisfied that Walker's HW legacy is the better of the two.
