Valuev is not as self rigtheous as Ruiz and doesn´t have an annoying idiot manager like Norman Stone. He also doesn´t grab as much.

Other than that Valuev is as bad a champion as "the journeyman" was. He is boring to watch, unskilled and rarely wins in convincing fashion. His wins over Donald, Ruiz and Holyfield were all disputed and he´s been fighting weak opponents left and right. His performance against Holyfield was a disgrace.

I used to have sympathy for Valuev and actually like him but I´ve given up. Valuev needs to be fed to the Klitschkos.

    :tired

At least Valuev has appeal because of his size. I don't expect him to defeat Chagaev in their rematch though. So worry not, the Valuev era shall end soon.

He's worse than Ruiz.Mother****a is a 2 time champion and hasn't fought nobody. He got a gift in the tite eliminator and the title fight and really Chagaev is the champ now.He should not be champ at all.

Ruiz is an ATG he knocked out Lennox in sparring, beat Holyfield and Rahman. Technically, he beat three heavyweight champions.

sorry, no tortilla. he certainly don't have mine!

he ktfo lewis? that's pretty damn good. sparring doesn't guarantee your going to beat the guy in the ring. if he did that to lewis, than why couldn't he do it vs. valuev? anyways, he did get robbed vs. valuev.

Valuev will always be superior to Ruiz, because unlike the cheating clubfighter, he fights WITHIN the rules, doesn't hold excessively and doesn't shameless fake "low blows" to win fights he'd lose otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, Valuev is no great shakes. But nothing is worse than glorified clubfighter Ruiz holding the title hostage with his illegal and illegitimate tactics
