Most of these comments are pretty funny and light-hearted...not bad.

In all seriousness though, Valuev is very good given the right match-up. It's obvious he has a lot of trouble against someone with good lateral movement. If a fighter elects to stand in front of the big man and tries to bang with him, he will be stopped. Good luck getting inside of that jab. For example, look at the paint-job he did on poor Sergei Liakovich...very impressive.

 

Sergei Liakovich injured his right hand in training and wasnt able to throw punches with her. 12 rounds UD against one armed fighter...give him the bloody lineal HW title.

Nikolay Valuev is the biggest fraud in the boxing history, but actually I feel sorry for him - he is really cool and nice guy. If Sauerland and King werent pushing him, Niko would be a nice top 15 fighter who was WBC belt holder for 1 or 2 years and can give anyone problems with his decent jab and 7'1 frame. He might even have a "Valuev siberian express" thread.

 

WTF Valuev can't even beat a 46 yr old who has been shot for ages now.

 

Watch the fights again...Chagaev used very good lateral movement and so did an old Holyfield. The blueprint is out on how to beat Valuev, no doubt...but he doesn't suck.

 

He's clearly head and shoulders above the rest.

Valuev imo would get absolutely devoured agsinst either Klit, it would be a huge train crash with one train unscathed. The giant Russian deserves SOME credit for his record but he hasn't really fought anybody and was embarrassingly exposed by grandpa Holyfield
