Deserved it too, I had it 120-108.
Just absolutely murdered Liakhovich with the jab, in twos and threes.
The right is still a little roundhouse at times, but generally he looked sharper and he was even showing some improved defensive prowess...

pretty weak output by Liakhovich. he knew he would have to be active but showed up fat.

Yes, not good at all. He usually couldn't get past the jab and, on the few occasions he did so, seemed intimidated and hurt by the bigger rights and lefts Valuev would send his way.

Really fought the wrong fight, although it might've worked better if he'd not come in so heavy...

not far from the truth. he's now the wba mandatory for chagaev but I hope after wlad sparks iggy, wlad fights chagaev instead of wbo mando tony thompson. povetkin is out at least 6 months. wlad wants to fight 3x this year. so it makes perfect sense for wlad-chagaev in the summer

his team said they are taking at least 6 months off before fighting again. i dont think he was injured although chambers turned him into a racoon :yep with his right hands. my theory is they want povetkin to get more experience with a big, powerful hw just to see how he could perfrom against wlad. donald, byrd, and chambers can barely punch through a paper bag. virchis, brewster, tua would all be good choices. hell, even thompson wouldnt be a bad choice if nothing else just to get rid 1 of wlad's madatories. sort of a super-eliminator

povetkin's got a lot of things going for him and some weaknesses that can be corrected. no sense in feeding him to wlad so early.

Jefferson's knockout over Mo Harris... still one of the most brutal knockouts that I have ever seen.

I missed the fight, like I miss most fights now. I had to work.

So, Liakhovich got his ass whopped? Was he almost knocked out?

He was definitely hurt and shook up at least four times that I can remember...in the 2nd, 4th, 9th and 11th. He managed to stay upright til the end though, but was pretty marked up from all those thudding jabs.
