Valuev-Liakhovich

Yep, Valuev UD12.

 

I like Liakhovich in this one. He is a better fighter than Valuev.

He should be able to employ the style that Chagaev did to beat Valuev, with some additions.

Sergei will hurt Valuev to the body and be able to work his way in past Valuev's reach not only with body shot leads but with a solid jab under Valuev's slower, more plodding jab.

He also has the hand speed and strength advantages over Valuev.

Liakovich by UD or possibly even by late stoppage in the 9th of 10th.

I'm sure this will go over 12 rounds and Liakhovich is the better boxer
Valuev has to ko him and Liakhovich has a very good chin.
I can't see anybody hurting Valuev

 

I think Liakhovich will win Valuev by UD! BUT you never know in Germany! Any way it seems like Valuev is done once he lost to Chageav I think he dosn't belive in himself anymore! Just watch and see!

 

First off I don't think he looked great aginst Bergeron! I had it very close for bergeron!! He looked stupid to me with his new Ali moves and I think world class fighter as is Liakhovich should beat him handily!

I know Liakhovich is inactive but he has all ways been! I think he will pull another Brewster fight!

Sergei was last seen getting knocked out of the ring by Briggs, who is about as mobile as a house. He's been inactive too long and too many questions about him remain. I think Valuev takes this one.

 

I'm not making excuses but I heard when he fought Briggs he had broken ribs. I don't know if it's true but maybe that's why he looked like ****. This fight will tell us if the Brewster fight was the real him or a one time deal.

 

Valuev by decision.

He's too big for Liak to deal with, and not only is Valuev at a big size advantage, he is also a fairly good boxer, contrary to popular beleif.

 

My feelings exactly. I don't generally have much confidence in inactive fighters coming off a loss - and even less so when they have such a - ahem - tall order in Valuev to take on. People tend to underestimate how difficult it is to fight a guy like that.

Valuev is underrated. Yes, I said it.

And Sergei is a one hit wonder.

I will be surprised if Valuev does not coast to an easy UD or a late round TKO.
