Cricket fans have the IPL, Golf fans have their own channel.

Unfortunately I am a boxing fan and have Valuev to look forward to.

    Life can be cruel.

They have a ****ing contract with Sauerland which was agreed a while back. That automatically gives them the rights to this fight! If they have the rights why not show it?

For Froch they have to deal with Hennessy on a single fight basis. All of Hennessy's other fighters are on ITV. Hennessy is probably asking for a lot of money for a one of fight and Setanta probably don't think it's economically viable. I know it's not fair but what the **** can we do?

Why don't we complain about Sky, ITV and BBC? They're the ones who have shown Froch's fights in the past, he's never fought on Setanta.

It's just a fad among the sheep on here to complain about Setanta at the moment, they'll soon be on to something else.

Sky, ITV, and BBC do not have a large number of people pay £10 a month just for Boxing, and do not decalre themselves as the home of boxing.

when everyone was thanking setanta for showing marquez vs diaz it was a disgrace, you think i give them £120 a year to show Huck and Arce??? Seriously where does my money go??

Sky have PPV and BBC are funded by TV licence fees. The 'Home of Boxing' is merely a tag line, they're not the only corporate entity to use a spurious title. They're not a pure boxing channel so the budget has to be spread evenly. I think you'll find a lot of people have it for the football which will, of course, be very expensive.

If you're not happy with the service though Rob, you know what the best course of action is and it isn't whinging on an internet forum.

For me the live UFC cards are still making setanta worth while. Spare a thought for the yanks who have to shell out $45 for each PPV.

Henessey and Froch need to accept that hes not very popular and just take whats on the table. Its simple economics Carl...if you could draw a crowd and pull a few viewers u would be getting more moolah.
