    Article on the scene.

Vitali wants a voluntary defence of his belt and ca;;ed Valuev and offered what he called ''an offer for his size'' which Valuev rejected.(promoter also has a cut from the million).

    what does he normally make?

valuev just came off a loss for ****s sake. Vitali has wanted him for years and valuev wants no part of that for obvious reasons.

About 3 million Euro, IIRC. But that's in large part because Haye only made 1 Euro plus 100% of the UK TV rights off of the Valuev fight, so all of the US PPV, ticket sales and European broadcasting rights all went to Valuev and his team.

It actually wound up being a good deal for both guys, because Haye really promoted the hell out of it in the UK.

$1M might be a lowball offer, but now that Valuev doesn't hold a belt, good luck to him getting that much money to face anyone else.

well, if this fight with vitali is in germany, valuev has the right to ask for more concsidering that vitali is more riskier of an opponent. but i don't know how german boxing would rival those that are held in england especially if the fighters were locally popular like haye.

    Wise decision from Valuev.
    1-He's sure to lose anyway.
2-Vitali will probably come back with another offer this time with more money for Valuev.

The bottom line is he won't make any more than that for a single fight right now. What is more likely is he will beat a few Bergerons and then get Sauerland to buy him the WBA interim Heavyweight Championship Emeritus in recess (which he will win from John Ruiz after Ruiz gets KO'd by Haye.)

Kingpin made 1 million from Vitali.

Valuev, like him or not, is much more experienced, a ex-champion, and a top 10 heavyweight (for years may I add), all of which Kingpin was not/will not be.

Valuev got low - balled, simple as.

Valuev shouldn't take anything lower than 2 mil.

Nick "The Dick" Valubum is already a multi-millionaire set for life...... That in itself makes me sick, since he is a fraud of a championship boxer of the WBA on two occasions.... If he was truly serious and interested in meeting Vitali Klit in the ring, he'd take the million dollar offer and go after Klit and the WBC belt...... But Team Valubum are a buncha' strokers looking to play games........ Nick Valubum doesn't really want to fight Vitali Klit.... Still, I'd love to see that fight............ GO KLIT!!
