I'm curious as to how Ruiz is gonna deal with that short right hand Valuev has developed. This may end to Zakman's liking, to be sure.
he's gonna smother him. valuev's hands aren't fast enough to catch him imo. liakoivich was in awful shape and basically stood at mid range letting valuev hit him. ruiz will not be so accomodating. valuev wins 116-113. should be pretty ugly affair but i wanna hear what valuev says about facing wladimir.
Well I think that dropped right hand is something they've added recently. It completely discouraged Lyakhovich from stepping inside. I guess we'll find out. Thanks for the link! :thumbsup
I have followed Valouev's career for many years now. The first time I saw Valouev fight was years ago on HBO. Roy Jones was commentating, Roy had a clip of Valouev shown, Roy was very impressed, and he was right. I remember when Valouev was fighting for only $2,000 per fight, then, finally, Sauerland got wise and took him in, he has improved so very much. He works for very hard and is a very gentle person, good person. When Valouev sets down on a punch it scary how much power he has, but he has always wanted to learn with every fight and box. Lets hope he mixes things up this time. He sure looked good in has last fight. By the way, I have tapes of Valouev fighting all over the world, including Australia, New Zealand, etc.
agreed. this fight should not be on US tv. boxing would be digging it's own grave internet stream is just fine for us boxing nutjobs
