This weekend Valuev will fight Ruiz in Germany for the vacant WBA title.
I watched the first fight and scored it 116-112 for Johnny Louise. There was no way in hell Valuev won that fight. It was the obvious result of biased judging. It was nearly as bad as the Donald fight.

Anyway, a few years has passed and Valuev has improved while Johnny Louise has probably deterioated. So, who wins this one and what does it mean for the heavyweight divison?

At 36 years of age, Johnny doesnt have any youth on his side IMO, and not only that he has had a very long lay off, and is comming off of a loss. I think Valuev might win this fight this time round, I mean he got the nod last time out, but I think in this one it might just be clear as day.
**** if I am wrong, Ruiz is a Three time world champion

    I hope Valuev wins.

If he wins, will he be the INTERIM champion, or the regular WBA Champ? What will happen with Chagaev?

Well, yeah there was much hugging in that fight but if you watch it most of it was coming from McCline. Ruiz looked quite good against Valuev the first time, I had him beating the Russian, and against Chagaev, which he clearly lost, nearly without any hugging.

Ruiz has been looking better and better in each fight since the last. I would say he'd take it, but it's in Germany soooo.....

He will be both, so he is actually getting awarded two different WBA belts. Interim and Regular. Ruslan has been granted the Title "Champion in Remission" So, lets say Ruslan's labia heals up next year. Then, we can have a fight for all three belts, Regular, Interim, and Champion in Remisson. Then, the winner of that, lets say it's Andre the Giant, can face Frankenstein, for the WBA/WBA/WBA-WBO/IBF/IBO Unified Title, and the winner would also be named WBA Superchampion, and have a total of 7 belts.

I hope Valuev wins, the reason is that he was active champion and any fight with him bring a lot of attention.
No matter whether it is circus or not it far better than disappointing hugging fest served by bear in every of his fights.

I wonder if it'll be televised on some station, or the internet?

I guess since its on in Germany, it'll be live in the afternoon, here in the US.

Anyone know where to see it?

Not overly enthused, and even though I expect Valuev to win a snoozefest, but I'd still like to see it, cause you never know..........
