I also had Ruiz winning their first fight, although it was close. And of course Larry Donald clearly beat Valuev.

However, since Valuev has improved somewhat and I don't think Ruiz can knock out the giant, I favour Valuev in the rematch. Yet people say that Ruiz improved too in his last couple fights, I havent seen them so maybe...

Anyways, I don't like Ruiz but I will still root for him in this fight. Why? Because IF there is a (small) chance that James Toney can get a shot at the WBA title in the next year, then he will have a better chance beating Ruiz than Valuev (styles make fights).

I'm sorry, but I can't stand John "The Holding man" Ruiz and I hope and pray that Valuev gives him the "Tua" treatment.

How can any of you score fights for Ruiz? He holds so much it is often times impossible to even score the fight.

Ruiz deserves a beating. He even deserves to be robbed of the win if he beats Valuev, because of all the prior cheating he has done. Nobody wants this hugging journeyman in denial to hold a belt again.

Hopefully Valuev will knock that cheating clubfigher the **** out and save us the disgrace of his holding yet another paper title illegitimately.

i agree with you. The LIahovich fight showed Valuev has improved a lot since Ruiz. I think he may even ko him this time. Valuev has learned to throw jabs while backing up where b4 he just took punishment due to his speed disadvantage.

Valuev by clear UD. I think he won first fight, close, but won. I scored draw with Donald.

    I agree.

For GOD's sake, as big as Valuev is, you'd think he could manage to at least TKO Ruiz this time. Good GOD, that guy is almost 7 feet tall, and while he has good skills for such a massive man, his power is such a letdown. And power is something you'd expect from a guy that immense.........but no.........

I would love to see Valuev lland a clean shot and drop Ruiz, and make it a clear and decisive win by KO,. instead of these questionable decisions

Come on, Valuev. Put some some weight behind it. Get him outta there, this time.
