So, do people agree that Virchis fighting Valuev is a much more appropriate idea than his nicking McCall's place as the mandatory contender for the WBC after Vitali-Sam-Oleg is sorted out? The winner of the fight will make a decent challenger to any title, whereas a Sam Peter - Oliver McCall fight will also be a great mix of the atomic chin and -in some people's views- the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division. I'm quite reassured that this will mean there's no chance of a pointless Peter-Virchis match.
It is a step down, but an okay one after his first ever loss (although I scored the fight to him, not Chagaev). I reckon he'll take it by decision if the judging is fair...
Vichis has a good punchers chance but Valuaev can outhustle him,Viches must press and punch and a KO would put him in line for a title
You were generous to give Valuev that fight considering that most people had Chagaev winning a clear-cut decision. Not to mention the fact that Valuev himself admit that he lost.
