Hayes goal for the future is to unify all belts and then he will retire!

Indeed. It makes perfect sense... Valuev knows that, especially with his size, he can't fight forever and already looks like he's starting to slide, so he's looking for a big payday. Haye wants leverage for negotiation (can't blame him if the rumors about the contracts are true) and a unification fight for all the marbles with one of the K bros is GIGANTIC.

How can anyone NOT see it????

I see Haye winning the WBA, then facing whatever mandatory he's force to face, THEN we'll see the biggest heavyweight fight in years. MASSIVE fight that will cause there to be only two titleholders remaining. And If Haye is one of them (doubtful), then that'll mean will be closeing in on ONE unfied titleholder.

This can only mean great things for the division.

Good work from Haye and his promoters, to get the likes of the spineless Valeuv in the ring with someone, like Haye, who will take his head off.

I guarantee that a fight with the Klitschkos will STILL have the same issues. Haye wont be happy with the contract. That is his MO and I dont see it changing at all even if he has the WBA belt.

The things that he was demanding for the Wlad fight would make you laugh. If he has more power (or thinks he has more power) in talks with the Klitschkos, it will be totally out of control. Mark my words

:thumbsup Spot on pal. These Klit nuthuggers on here dont think that beating Wlad, defending against him again (even though he wont be defending against a mandatory) then defending against his brother (who also will not be a mandatory and will result in Haye relinquishing the belt) and doing it for peanuts is a **** end of the stick. they believe that the big russian fraud having to fight someone who wont be scared of him is the **** end of the stick !!

Haye will beat Valuev (of that there is now doubt) then he will walk through Wladimir. By that time Vitali will be getting on and will be also beaten easily !

notice how everything with Haye is "will". Stop talking ****, bottling fights and get in the ring and prove it! 1 fight against a tomato can in 16 months isn't proving ****. no one wants to hear this guy spew his stupid one-liners anymore.

Well said Kobe, Haye's had two fights since 2007. That's a whole lot of doing nothing.

Haye was going to get knocked out by a Klitschko eventually, if he gets a HW title and waits out until they get older he has a better shot at beating them as each day goes by because Haye is entering his prime and Wladimir and Vitali aren't getting any younger. I hope Haye beats Valuev decisively, he just has to slip Valuev's jab and hit Valuev with the right hand all night, Chagaev did that in a similar way.
