Man, both gassed out after merely 5 rounds - ti was experience that won Golota the fight, not much more...
Golota fought sloppy after round 5 because he was fighting with just one eye! He's gone twelve rounds with Byrd, Ruiz as well.
I just dont get where you are coming from when you say Golota has lousy stamina. He's never shown that, not even in his most recent 12 fight against Mollo fighting as a cyclopes.
Or exciting, his only fight that I liked was vs Barrett and that was because of Monte's effort. For such a big guy Valuev punches pretty weak.He hasn't KOed any good guy
Don't listen, Golota's stamina was always great. His major weakness is getting iced in the 1st round.
I think this is the most winnable title fight Golota has ever had. Go, GOLOTA. This would possibly set up Vitali vs Golota in the future, unless a victorious Golota decided to quit while he was ahead (a titleholder) and retire thereafter. Which is what I think he'd do, if he were to win the WBA agianst Valuev.
I dig Golota, but he is my age at 41. I know Golota looks ripped and all, but he is slower now than ever before. If he is gonna get a shot, he needs to do it against Nick Valuev as supposedly schedule for late December or early 2009..... Against the giant powder-puff stiff---Valuev, I think Golota's lack of hand and foot speed really won't matter too much.... GO GOLOTA!:happy
No official news on this yet, right? Strange, I think King will replace Golota at China, that's not really a big fight for him to carry on, imagine if Golota gets cut or loses, it will put everybody on a bad situation for the big fight against Valuev.
Once again. DK is keeping the WBA belt in the family. No matter if the other fighter deserves a title shot or not. Think AG will go for Valuevs balls:yep :yep :yep
