Is it for a minor title?

Valuev surprised me in that he actually showed decent footwork (to avoid a jab) and held his right hand high to block the left hook. In the past, he barely had any defense.

    80-72 Valuev.
Liakhovich just eating that jab over and over, with the odd roundhouse right thrown in. Valuev got in a sweet left hook at one point too.

He's surely got to go for an all-out attack here. He can't win a decision.

What the **** is with the shoulder roll Lyakovich is trying to employ, and failing miserably?

7-1 Valuev, good job I picked wide in the prediction thread

Valuev fighting a very smart fight...dominating, but not wasting alot of energy. I've got it 8-0, mabe SL could've stolen one round in there

When did Valuev learn to throw a jab?

Domination so far by Valuev. But Liyahovich is surving once Valuev stopped using his right uppercut.

Valuev owns him. SL can't do anything. He comes in he gets clubbed, can't slip the jab. After getting mildly hurt, he goes back on the outside.

Not that easy, the scorecards weren't that far apart.

But anyway - it was the fact that Briggs had Liakhovich's favourite right-left combo scoped and kept whacking him with a quick counter right to interrupt it. And in the 12th round, that was what lead to the knockdown.

    No i dont think so.

Sergei needs a KO to win on my card. And I don't think there's a man in today's heavyweight division that could even do that. So Liachovich is pretty much screwed.

Ima keep watching tho, maybe Valuev can ko him.
