Gotta run cant catch the cards but should be clear WIN for Valuev.

Not impressed still, though he used his jab and size effectively enough to control the fight:good

Don't forget he was fighting with one hand. I guess he has something with right shoulder.

To be fair, it was a decent fight. Valuev's left hand kept landing pretty well.

    I've seen worse fights.

People can disrespect Valuev all they want .. sure he is not the most gifted boxer ever, and yes he is slow.
But he also comes into the ring in very good shape every time around.
The guy is intelligent .. very respectful did not give a single excuse vs Chagaev and now shows he can take that and work hard to improve himself.

    Kudos

A classy fighter that comes in to every fight in shape is far from a disgrace :bart

As usual great output and great conditioning from the big man. Plus 5000 jabs was also good.

Sergei sucks, but we already knew this.

Valuev is just a little better than sucks, he's not terrible, not good, but not terrible.

Decent fight, but Liakhovitch made it kinda boring, Valuev atleast tried to make it a decent fight.

On replay it looks painful. Lyakh was hanging in...

Valuev has no desire to kill.

If he does he needs to come back against a cream puff and build his competition for three or four fights before stepping up like this again.

Yeah, in retrospect it seems maybe beating Brewster and Briggs (for 11 rounds before gassing) should have been taken for smaller omens than they were.
