Only an idiot would have thought Valuev won. I even almost exploded when I heard the 114-114 card of one of the judges. Haye arguably won all rounds. There is just 1 round you could perhaps score an even round.
Haye outlanded him? I gave him rounds where he opened up a bit but then they showed the replays and those punches missed or brased Valuev on the arm, I still gave him the round out of pity. He was very rarely throwing any punches. I would like to see a compubox stats for this fight.
Just for comparison the corwd booed the decision against Holyfield. The crowd booed the action during the fight with Haye. Why do you think is that? Because Haye wasnt throwing punches.
I just want confirmation of this...you're debating who scored more shots? ...Just a one word answer is fine.
Lol, what a nincompoop. Of course Valuev was the aggressor, you moron. He always is in all of his fights where he always outweigh his opponent by a good 100 lbs and towers over them by about a foot. atsch Not only Haye landed the more and cleaner punches, he also controlled the fight all throughout (ring generalship).

It only works that way if the champ is a Brit (Froch let's say.) I know really... remember crotch won because he was the agressor and was bringing the fight to dirrell while direll ran around the ring .... Valuev lost because he was the agressor and was bringing the fight to Haye while Haye ran around the ring.. ****ing brits and im sorry to the good brit posters but for the majority its a ****in joke
lol wow take off the blinders value landed 2-3 clean punches the whole fight. and you had the nerve to ***** about the guy misstating what a knockout was :deal
I had a similar feeling after Dela Hoya Sturm. I wanted Hoya to win but after I heard the results I couldn't celebrate and after some time I totally dismissed this victory for Dela Hoya. Similarly here I had hopes of Haye knocking him out but I would accept if he beat him narrowly on points but I cant accept a victory when I felt he didnt do enough.
Valuev plodding around after Haye and poking his arm into thin air does not make him the aggressor. The more aggressive punching came from Haye therefore Haye was the aggressor even in a tatical fight which saw him on the back foot or dodging side to side - Haye's movement was dictated by him and not by Valuev and that's the difference. No way Valuev won and the decision was right. And for those that might care about such things - i'm a Brit and thought that Dirrell easily beat Froch.
I am very disappointed . We lost the World Championship .The belt left from Niko. But let's face it. He was NOT robbed. Haye deserved the victory and the world championship
It would be pretty damn hypocritical to say Froch won and then say Haye won. Valuev fought better than Froch, and while Haye wasn't grabbing on like Dirrell, he was running, and landed a lot fewer clean punches than did Dirrell. I don't think it was a robbery (it was another close fight with a lot of rounds that were tough to score), but I had it 115-113 Valuev. For the most part, Haye was full of sound and fury signifying nothing. There were a number of rounds where landed less than 5 punches.
This is got to be 1 of the dumbest posts I've ever read in ESB.... Americans haven't had too many white HW's, have they? And they've mostly always embraced their black champs.... I do see they don't like Haye 4 some reason, and ironically, IMO, I've noticed it's mostly black americans who have a dislike 4 him... I may be wrong, Idk!! Anyways, I was rooting 4 Haye and I hope he can do something for that joke of a division!!
That's the way I think championship fights should be scored. If the challenger does not do enough to take the belt away from the champion in that particular round, it goes to the champion.
