Haye acted like he was the belt holder and Valuev was the guy who wanted to take the belt. Regardless of what people think of Valuev ,he was the one who came forward to fight only for Haye to get on his bike and then throw about 5 punches per round.

I thought you had to do more to take a belt when you go into a champs backyard.

Also, if you don't see it as a Haye domination they tell you to find another sport to watch. They're the most obnoxious national group on this forum by a mile.

I just can't give a fight to someone who isn't landing punches. It's better to land one than miss with several.

I dont agree. Fighters should be treated the same wether they are champions or challangers. If it was like you want it to be we would have paper champs like zsolt erdei, Sturm and ottke ruling every weight class there is

PEOPLE HE WAS FIGHTING A MAN THAT OUTWEIGHTED HIM BY 98 POUNDS, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT? HE'S GOING TO FIGHT CAREFUL AND HE DID ENOUGH TO WIN. Who cares about Valuev, he's not doing anything significant in the division anyway. Aren't you tired of being bored. Lets see what Haye will do. Evidently Valuev and the Klits weren't going to fight so lets see what happens now you IDIOTS

Why should anyone be able to come into a fight and then start riding a bike for 12rds and come out the champion??

Haye showed me nothing, other than that he can make a giant miss. So what? Does that mean he takes the belt? Absolutely not.

Now, if Haye had been answering back with his own punches, that would have been very different. But Haye didn't do that...Haye threw something like an average
    of 13 PUNCHES PER ROUND!

Addie you are exaggerating. Valuev landed a lot more jabs than you think.

Exactly. And when you combine that with the fact that he was making the fight, throwing more punches, etc., there are quite a few rounds that Valuev won. IMO, you don't "win" a fight by running around and flicking out punches like Haye for most of the fight.

    Exactly.

The same reason Hopkins beat Calzaghe.
