Valuev did not land a single clean punch. You´re lying about the facts, but that does not help you. Haye easily won, almost got robbed. You cannot win a fight blocking bombs with your head and not landing a single clean punch.
Off course you do, as you hate Haye. But it doesn´t help you, Haye won and he got the title. You can go on lying about this, but fact is, Haye is the new WBA world heavyweight champion.
I am not sure that Haye outlanded Valuev, but I am possitive that he outran him clearly. By the way I am sure you scored the Froch v Dirrell fight in favor of Froch.
HAYE HAS NEVER BEEN A FIGHTER TO RUN FROM A FIGHT... BUT CAN ANYONE HERE TELL ME ANOTHER WAY THAT DAVID COULD HAVE WON AGAINST VALUEV??? ANYONE HERE WHO SAYS THAT HAYE IS A DISGRACE AND HE IS A RUNNER, YOU MUST OBVIOUSLY THINK HE COULD HAVE WON ANOTHER WAY, SO PLEASE, SHARE IT WITH US!! ..... :gsg
could any one who claims that valuev won to post finally some photos with vauluev's clean punches to prove that fact ? anybody please... No one ? I suspected as much
these people are quick to judge because they dont like him, but when it comes to actually explaining their point, they dont have a clue. there is no other way haye could have beaten valuev and they know it, but they are juat haters!!!:nono
Did you see how Chagaev fought Valuev? He did not run he actually engaged Valuev and he won more clearly than Haye.
chagaev has a better chin that haye so he can afford to do that! haye knows he hasnt got the strongest chin in the world and so he needed a gameplan to beat valuev, and this was the only one... AND IT WORKED!!! im sure that maybe we would have seen more punches in the final few rounds had haye not smashed his hand, and someone will probably reply to this by saying ''stop saying haye broke his hand and thats why he never got the KO'' but they are just plain ignorant and biased!! With haye being an out and out puncher,im impressed he managed not to get into a tear-up and he had the discipline to stay away from that monster!!!
Valuev is difficult to defeat. He can only be outdanced. That Haye stunned him for a few seconds in th 12th was more than I had expected. And yes, it was an abyssmal fight - a slow giant vs. a runner. The best thing is, that Haye has the belt. After the defense against Ruiz, there are some interesting fights on the horizon, starting summer 2010. Props to Haye for a few things, though: 1) He did not fall for the trap of trading with Valuev for a longer time, seeking the KO 2) He did bring his CW power up to HW and was still fresh in the 12th round 3) He sticked to his game plan and brought it through to the end - shows some cool head and ring generalship. That being said, I doubt he has what it takes to defeat a Klitschko. Not yet. I guess Haye can outbox strong punchers (Tua, Solis, Peter, Arreola). But that's not enough. He should face a tall technically skilled boxer (Dimitrenko, Povetkin), and perhaps a fast one (Chambers, Adamek). If he survives that, I'll give him a reasonable chance. He is one of the very few really athletic boxers out there.
